This week I was supporting the work of the Oliver King Foundation at an awareness raising event in Parliament.
I was recently pleased to lend my support to the housing charity Shelter’s campaign on rogue landlords. Over the past 10 years, the number of people renting from a private landlord has increased hugely. And it will continue to rise as waiting lists for social housing grow and more people are priced out of home ownership.
There has quite rightly been a flurry of media interest with the approach of the 23rd anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, particularly given the anticipated conclusion of the work of the Hillsborough Panel.
